Lindsey Haun as Emily, who currently is featured in HBO’s TRUE BLOOD as Hadley Stackhouse, and will soon appear as the lead in the indie feature “House of Last Things.” She has starred in several feature films, notably “Village of the Damned,” “Shrooms,” and “Broken Bridges,” the latter two of which she also composed and performed original songs for. She starred in the Emmy-award-winning Disney Channel original film “The Color of Friendship,” ABC Family’s “Brave New Girl,” CBS’s “Get to the Heart: the Barbara Mandrell Story.” Her band, The Haun Solo Project, recently released their new album NEON GODS, and also have written music for Lifetime’s “Reviving Ophelia” and the indie feature “The Four-Faced Liar.”

It seemed insurmountable…
The daunting challenge of actually singing live with a mic in front of a crowd, and not at home with my hand-held shower head where I always sounded pretty okay, might have stopped me dead in my tracks if not for Terri Weiss. Terri is a magician of sorts. I left my first session with her, and like a whooped noodle, climbed into the car and wondered if I had what it would take to really sing. The second time I went to study with her, it was no better. I was exhausted. It left me seriously doubting myself. Thankfully, Weiss encouraged me to return and I did; thankful for her persistence and believing in my new venture.
Without a cape of glittering stars, Weiss transforms the possibilities to probabilities. She has no magic wand or top hat, but nonetheless pulls the best you out of yourself – if you do the work. If you’re even thinking about giving voice to your dream of singing, don’t wait. There’s a good reason her studio is booked with such great sounding talent of all ages.
